Canada-Bangladesh Diplomatic Summit at Biman Headquarters

A courtesy meeting took place between  Lilly Nichols, the Honorable Ambassador of Canada appointed to Bangladesh, and Shafiul Azim (Additional Secretary), Managing Director, and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The meeting was held at Biman’s head office, Balaka, on 04 February 2024.

Biman’s MD & CEO,Shafiul Azim, warmly welcomed Ambassador Lilly Nichols. During the meeting, discussions included a code-share agreement between Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Air Canada, SPA, training of Biman’s engineers, and enhancing Biman’s connectivity to Canada via Far East, especially Japan’s Narita. Senior officials from both Biman Bangladesh Airlines and the Canadian High Commission were present.
