MD & CEO of Biman met with the Ambassador of Italy to discuss the upcoming inaugural Dhaka-Rome flight.

Recently the Managing Director & CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Shafiul Azim (Additional Secretary of GoB) met with the Ambassador of Italy to Bangladesh H.E. Antonio ALESSANDRO in a courtesy call at his residence.

Shafiul Azim solicited co-operation of the Ambassador for upcoming inaugural Biman’s Dhaka-Rome flight on 26 March 2024.

The Ambassador greets Shafiul Azim and his team and assure that Italian Embassy will extend all sort of co-operations to Biman Bangladesh Airlines. H.E. hope that this flight will strengthen the connection between Bangladesh and Mainland Europe. H.E. also assure that they will promote this flight so that Italians residing in Bangladesh could enjoy direct flight by Biman Bangladesh Airlines. At that time Air Commodore Md. Moazzem Hossain, Director Engineering & Material Management, Mohammad Salahuddin, Director Marketing & Sales (Acting) and another official of Italian Embassy were present.
