Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC signeda Participatory agreement with SME Foundation
The SME Foundation and Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC signed an agreement to distribute investments under easy terms to entrepreneurs, including cluster, clientele, and association members, as well as women entrepreneurs in the production and service sectors across the country from the “Revolving Fund” provided by the government under the Credit Wholesaling Program of SME Foundation.
Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC recently signed a Participatory agreement with SME Foundation at a city hotel in the capital. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Managing Director (Addl. Ch.) of SME Foundation Salahuddin Mahmud signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. In presence of the Senior Secretary of Ministry of Industries Ms. Zakia Sultana, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank M. M. Saiful Islam and the Managing Director (Addl. Ch.) of SME Foundation Salahuddin Mahmud exchanged the documents after the agreement. The chairperson of SME Foundation Professor Prof. Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman presided over in the program.
Among others the Secretary of Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA and the Head of SME & Agri. Investment Department of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Md. Abdur Rahim along with senior officials of 23 Bank & Financial Institutions were present in the signing ceremony.
