First Meeting of the Board of Directors of Global Islami Bank Held

The first meeting of the new Board of Directors of Global Islami Bank held recently at bank’s Head Office, Gulshan, Dhaka. Independent Director and Chairman of the Board Mohammad Nurul Amin presided over the meeting. Other Independent Directors. Md. Zamal Mollah, Nurul Islam Khalifa, Prof. Abu Hena Reza Hasan and Md. Mahamud Hosain, FCA, Managing Director Syed Habib Hasnat and other officials of the bank were present at the meeting. The meeting had a threadbare discussion on financial condition of the bank along with other prevailing conditions like protecting interest of depositors and overcoming the crisis period in the shortest possible time as per instruction and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank.
