Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won award in 3 categories including Joint 1st Position at the 24th ICAB National Award

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won award in 3 categories at the 24^th ICAB National Award for the Best Presented Annual Reports-2023. Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won the 1^st Position (Gold) for the fourth consecutive times in the Private Sector Banks category, the 2^nd Position (Silver) in the Corporate Governance Disclosures category and the Joint 1^st Position (Gold) in the Integrated Reporting category. The ICAB organized the 24^th ICAB National Award at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on 10^th September 2024. The Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC & Chairman of Risk Management Committee of the Bank Engr. Md. Towhidur Rahman received the award from the Hon’ble Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Science & Technology Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed. The Managing Director of the Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank Jafar Sadeq, FCA were also present on the stage while receiving the award.

Khairuzzaman Mozumder, the Secretary of Commerce Selim Uddin, the Secretary of Internal Resources Division, Ministry of Finance & Chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR) Abdur Rahman Khan, FCMA, the Chairman of Review Committee for Published Accounts & Reports-ICAB Mohammed Humayun Kabir, FCA, the President of ICAB Mohammed Forkan Uddin, FCA, the Additional Managing Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Abdul Aziz, S. M. Mainuddin Chowdhury, M. Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Imtiaz U. Ahmed, M. M. Saiful Islam & Mostafa Hossain and the Company Secretary Abul Bashar were also present.
