Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Awarded 3 prestigious Award from the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for best presented Annual Report

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Awarded 3 prestigious Award from South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for best presented Annual Report-2023. Among these awards the Bank Awarded 1^st Prize (Gold Award) in the SAARC Anniversary Award for Corporate Governance Category, 2^nd Prize (Silver Award) in the Private Sector Banks Category and Certificate of Merit in the Integrated Reporting Category. In an event organized in Colombo the capital city of Sri Lanka on 11^th November 2024, the Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA received these awards from Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe the Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

Among others the President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Mr. Heshana Kuruppu was also present along with other high officials of SAFA in the award giving ceremony.
