Shahjalal Islami Bank organizes “Annual Risk Management Conference-2024”

ShahjalalIslami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) organized “Annual Risk Management Conference-2024” on 30th November 2024 through Hybrid Platform.

The Conference was presided over by the Managing Director of the Bank while the Director, Department of Off-Site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank A. N. M. Moinul Kabirwas present as chief guest in the conference.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors & member of Risk Management Committee (RMC) of the Bank Mohammed Younus, the Director of the Bank & Chairman of Executive Committee Akkas Uddin Mollah and the Director of the Bank Md. Sanaullah Shahid were also present as special guest in the conference.

The Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank’s Off-Site Supervision Department NazminNahar was also present in the conference and took part in the discussion.

In the Hybridsystem meeting, the speakers discussed on overall Risk Profile of the Bank, Risk Management Framework, Assessment of the Risk Management in the Bank, Investment Risk Management, Money Laundering Risk, Core Risks Management and upcoming challenges of the Bank.

The EVP of Risk Management Division of the Bank Mohammed Abu Shayem moderated the program.

Among others the Additional Managing Directors of the Bank Abdul Aziz & M. Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Directors Imtiaz U. Ahmed & M. M. Saiful Islam were present in the Conference.

Apart from this, more than nine hundred participants including the Head of different Divisions & Executives from the Corporate Head Office, the Branch Managers of 140 Branches and 04 Sub Branches as well as the Executives and the Officers from Branches participated in the conference.
