Global Islami Bank reconstitutes its Shari`ah Supervisory Committee

Global Islami Bank reconstitutes its Shari`ah Supervisory Committee. The six-member Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the bank reconstituted in a meeting of the board of directors held at the head office of the bank on 26 December 2024.

Chairman of Jamea Quasemia Kamil Madrasah, Narsingdi Sayed Kamaluddin Zafree has been elected as Chairman of the committee.

Other members of the committee are Prof. Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad, Ex- Professor of Manarat International University, Mohammad Shah Wali Ullah, Khatib of Sobhan BagJame Mosjid, Dhaka, Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baki, Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Dhaka, Dr.Mohammad Monzur E Elahi, Associate Professor of National University, Gazipur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sayedul Haque, Professor(Grade-1)of Bangladesh Open University, Gazipur. Chairman of the Board Mohammad Nurul Amin, Vice-Chairman Md. Zamal Mollah, Chairman of EC Committee Nurul Islam Khalifa, Prof. Abu Hena Reza Hasan, Md. Mahamud Hosain, FCA, Managing Director Syed Habib Hasnat, Deputy Managing Directors Ataus Samad and Sami Karim were also present at the meeting.
