First meeting of Biman Board of Directors held

The first meeting (300th board meeting) of the newly formed Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines was held this year.

On Thursday (January 10) the board meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran at the head office Balaka. All board members are greeted with flowers.

Biman Board of Directors Chairman former Senior Secretary Mustafa Kamal Uddin presided over it.

Chairman of the National Board of Revenue Abu Hena. Rahmatul Munim, Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Mohammad Salahouddi (virtual), Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. Mokammel Hossain, Finance Secretary Dr.Khairuzzaman Majumdar were present in the meeting.

Also present – Maritime Affairs Unit Secretary Rear Admiral Khurshed Alam (retd.) (joined virtually), Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mofidur Rahman, Bimaner’s Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, Chief Engineer of Biman Major General. Iftekhar Anis, BGMEA President Farooq Hasan, Senior Supreme Court Advocate Barrister Tanjib-ul-Alam and Senior Supreme Court Advocate and Managing Director of The Computers Limited Khandaker Atiq-e-Rabbani, Biman Managing Director and CEO (Additional Secretary) Shafiul Azim.
