Standard Bank inaugurates Haj Booth at Haj Camp, Ashkona, Dhaka

Shari`ah based Standard Bank PLC. inaugurated Haj Booth at Haj Camp, Ashkona, Dhaka. Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony Mohammad Mohon Miah, Managing Director & CEO (Current Charge) of the Bank and Special Guest Muhammad Kamruzzaman, Deputy Secretary of Bangladesh Govt. & Director of Haj Office, Ashkona; formally inaugurated the Haj Booth on 13 May 2024. Free passport endorsement, foreign currency exchange and Haj information services will be provided to Haj pilgrims from the Haj Booth. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, SEVP & Chief Remittance Officer and high officials of the bank were present at the event. After the inauguration, the bank provided prayer mat for the Mosque at Haj Camp and handed over gift packages to the Haj pilgrims containing necessary items for Haj.
