Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized financial literacy program in Sylhet Region for the development of CMSME women entrepreneurs
Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized a seminar titled “Accelerance on Financial Literacy for Development of CMSME Women Entrepreneurs” at its’ Sylhet Dargah Gate Branch Premises recently with Approx 100 potential women entrepreneurs. This initiative was part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to empower women entrepreneurs and foster a job-oriented, industry-based economy. The Deputy Managing Director of the Bank M. M. Saiful Islam graced the occasion as the chief guest. He emphasized the significant role of women in economic development and GDP growth and highlighted the importance of SME investment. He also emphasized the significance of financial independence and entrepreneurship for women, urging them to fulfill their responsibilities with determination and dedication to contribute in GDP. Among others the Head of the SME & Agri. Investment Division of the Bank Abdur Rahim, the Manager of the Sylhet Branch & Zonal Head Tufael Yakub, the Manager of the Dargah Gate Branch Khurshid Alam and other officials from the branch and Corporate Head Office were also present in the program.
