First Security Islami Bank’s Nawapara branch inaugurated
First Security Islami Bank PLC’s 206th branch, Nawapara Branch, Jessore was inaugurated on Sunday.
The bank’s chairman, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
The bank’s managing director, Syed Wasek Md. Ali, presided over the function, while the bank’s vice chairman, Md. Azizur Rahman and deputy managing director, Md. Sirajul Islam, spoke as special guests. In addition, the bank’s executive vice president, Md. Abdus Salam, Khulna regional head, Ahmed Ashiq Razi, Nawapara branch manager, Md. Yasir Rahman, principal of Nawapara Government College, Md. Rabiul Hasan, local politicians, Matiur Rahman Faraji and Golam Mostafa, and local dignitaries delivered speeches.
In his speech as the chief guest, Mohammad Abdul Mannan said that First Security Islami Bank is providing modern and Sharia-based banking facilities to all levels of society with the aim of financial inclusion. He directed the bank officials to invest the deposits of the Nawapara branch in this region, giving priority to small investments, SMEs, agriculture and employment in the light of the objectives of Islamic Sharia. He urged the customers to avail all types of Sharia-based banking facilities, including investment, remittance and app-based services.
