The PATA Bangladesh Chapter on Monday organised a reception in honour of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Arlt, Founder and CEO of the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI), who is visiting Dhaka at the invitation of Daffodil International University (DIU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reception brought together tourism professionals, academics and students to welcome the internationally renowned tourism expert and discuss issues related to outbound tourism and global travel trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among those present at the programme were Dr. Soeb of Daffodil International University and Dr. Indrajit Mollick of DIU. Representatives of the PATA Dhaka University Student Chapter also attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme was presided over by Taufiq Rahman, Secretary General of the PATA Bangladesh Chapter. Mohosin Iqbal, Treasurer of the chapter, was also present, along with other members and guests from the tourism and academic communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Dr. Arlt is in Bangladesh as part of his visit to Daffodil International University, where he is expected to engage in discussions and academic programmes focusing on tourism development, particularly China’s outbound tourism market and its opportunities for Bangladesh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
