Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel is set to bring the authentic flavors and traditions of Italy to the capital with “Buon Appetito \u2013 Italian Weekend Theme Night”, the latest edition of its signature culinary series at Bahar, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Italian-themed dining experience will run every Thursday to Saturday from August 6 to August 29, 2026, offering guests an immersive journey through Italy’s rich and diverse culinary heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival will officially begin on August 6 with an inaugural ceremony featuring a ribbon-cutting by the Ambassador of Italy to Bangladesh, alongside senior government officials, distinguished guests, members of the Italian community, media representatives, lifestyle influencers, and food bloggers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the hotel, Bahar’s monthly Weekend Theme Nights are designed to introduce guests to different international cuisines through authentic recipes, cultural experiences, and carefully curated menus. The upcoming Italian edition continues this tradition by showcasing the country’s iconic dishes in an elegant dining atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inspired by the traditional Italian phrase “Buon Appetito,” meaning “good appetite,” the culinary event will feature an extensive buffet highlighting regional Italian specialties prepared using premium ingredients and traditional cooking techniques with a contemporary presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The menu will include freshly baked artisan breads, rustic antipasti, handcrafted pasta, signature risotto, wood-fired Italian specialties, premium grilled seafood and meats, regional cheeses, and a wide range of classic Italian desserts. Guests will also be able to enjoy live cooking stations where chefs prepare signature dishes on demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the featured desserts are Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Torta Caprese, Pistachio Cannoli, and Italian Cr\u00e8me Br\u00fbl\u00e9e, along with several other authentic Italian sweet delicacies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The buffet is priced at BDT 3,950 net per person. Guests will also be able to enjoy 25 percent savings through selected bank cards, GP Star membership, Banglalink Orange Club privileges, and eligible group bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
