The Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) and the Bangladesh Aviation and Tourism Journalists Association (BATJA) have agreed to work together to promote the development of Bangladesh\u2019s tourism industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The commitment was made at a courtesy meeting between the leaders of the two organisations, where they discussed the current state of the tourism sector, challenges facing tourism businesses, growth opportunities and measures to make the industry more dynamic and competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was held on Sunday afternoon at the TOAB office in Agargaon, Dhaka, with members of BATJA\u2019s newly elected executive committee meeting with TOAB leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants reviewed the current condition of the tourism industry and discussed the challenges faced by tourism businesses, as well as potential areas for growth. They also exchanged views on measures to strengthen and expand the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TOAB leaders stressed the need for greater government attention to tourism, effective measures to address the problems faced by tour operators, and the formulation and implementation of tourism-friendly policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BATJA leaders emphasised stronger coordination among the government, tourism businesses, relevant organisations and the media to ensure the sustainable development of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also expressed their commitment to supporting the sector by highlighting tourism-related challenges, opportunities and positive initiatives through the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also discussed measures to attract more international tourists while promoting domestic tourism, strengthen the branding and promotion of Bangladesh\u2019s tourism destinations, and improve the quality of tourism services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, leaders of both organisations pledged to maintain regular communication, dialogue and cooperation to support the further development and expansion of Bangladesh\u2019s tourism industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
