International Chefs Day 2026 was celebrated in Bangladesh, recognising the creativity and innovation of culinary professionals in promoting healthy eating and nutritious food.
Held at a city hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday under the theme \u2018Healthy Food for the Future\u2019, the event brought together more than 600 chefs and culinary professionals from different parts of the country.
The event was organised by the Chefs Federation of Bangladesh (CFB), with Fresh Instant Full Cream Milk Powder, a popular brand of Meghna Group of Industries, as the title sponsor.
It aimed to celebrate the contributions of professional chefs while highlighting their role in promoting healthy eating habits.
The chief guest at the event was Lalla Bouthaina El Kerdoudi El Koulali, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bangladesh.
The ambassador said, \u2018Food is an important part of culture and heritage. Chefs play a vital role in ensuring access to healthy and nutritious meals. By using nutritious ingredients to prepare delicious dishes and raising awareness about healthy eating.\u2019
CFB President Chef Johir Khan said, \u2018Chefs do more than prepare food. They also help shape people\u2019s food habits and tastes. Selecting quality ingredients and exploring new recipes are essential to preparing healthy meals.\u2019
Among others, CFB adviser Shakawath Hossain, its General Secretary Borhan Khan, and senior vice presidents Julean Sitol Botlero and Chef Joshim Uddin were present at the event.
