Asit Kumar Saha and Jhahedul Alam have been elected as Directors of Standard Bank PLC pursuant to the decision of the 403rd Board Meeting of the Bank held on December 15, 2024 and with the approval of Bangladesh Bank dated February 3, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A distinguished entrepreneur Ashit is the Managing Director of NGS Cement Industries Ltd., A.K. Saha Steel Industries (PVT.) Ltd., Uttam Oil Mills Ltd. and N.G. Saha Steel Industries (PVT.) Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides these, he is the Director of Saha Steel Products (PVT.) Ltd. and New Bengal Trading Co. Ltd. Ashit completed his B.Com (Honors) from Government College of Commerce, Chattogram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JhahedulAlam is an experienced business professional having a B.Sc. (Honors) in Economics from Queen Mary University, London. Jhahedul is the Managing Partner of M\/S Super Electronics, M\/S Radiovision, J.P Sons and White Rabbit, Managing Director of Hay Agro Pvt.
