Hilsha\u2014celebrated as the \u201cKing of Fish\u201d and the national pride of Bangladesh\u2014makes its much-anticipated return to the iconic InterContinental Dhaka. Following last year\u2019s overwhelming success, The Great Hilsha Festival will once again delight food enthusiasts at Elements Global Dining, from 18 to 27 September 2025. The inauguration ceremony was held on 18 September where Olivier Loreaux (Director of Food & Beverage), Julean Sitol Botlero (Executive Chef), Saadman Salahuddin (Director of Marketing) were present along with the hotel team.
This unique culinary celebration will showcase an extensive array of authentic Hilsha preparations alongside beloved Bengali classics. Guests can indulge in signature dishes such as Ilish Pulao, Shorisha Ilish, Ilish Korma, Whole Hilsha Tandoori, Fried Hilsha, Ilish Khichuri, Ilish Paturi, Ilish Lej Bhorta, Hilsha Do Piaza, Ilish Potol Curry, and innovative fusion creations like Curried Hilsha Sushi and Hilsha Egg Pizza. Complementing the Hilsha delicacies, the buffet will also feature timeless favourites including Mutton Kacchi Biryani, Beef Kala Bhuna, Mutton Nihari, assorted bhortas, traditional desserts, and more\u2014expertly prepared by InterContinental Dhaka\u2019s master culinary team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
