US-Bangla Airlines has brought back 27 flight crew members of Biman Bangladesh Airlines who had been stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing Middle East crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a press release issued on March 5, US-Bangla Airlines said the crew members had been stuck in the United Arab Emirates since 28 February after the situation in the region escalated and flight operations were disrupted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The crew members spent nearly five days in uncertainty in Dubai before being brought back to Bangladesh with the assistance of US-Bangla Airlines, the airline said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
US-Bangla Airlines said that as part of its responsibility as a service-oriented organisation, it has secured special permission from the Dubai Airport Authority to operate two emergency flights to bring back stranded Bangladeshi Passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the initiative, one special flight carrying 378 passengers landed safely at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second special flight is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka in the morning of March 6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
