Hotel Sarina brings Peshawari flavours to Dhaka
Hotel Sarina Dhaka is hosting a Peshawari Food Festival from August 16 to 30 at its Summerfields Restaurant, offering guests a taste of traditional cuisine from Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The festival was inaugurated by Imran Haider, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, along with Deputy High Commissioner Muhammad Wasif, Trade and Investment Attaché Zain Aziz and other officials of the Pakistan High Commission. Representatives from media organisations, food bloggers and influencers also attended the inauguration.

Guest Chef Rai Abbas has travelled from Pakistan to prepare a selection of traditional dishes for the festival, adding an authentic touch to the culinary experience.
The buffet features a range of Pakistani specialties, including Nalli Pulao, Kabuli Pulao, Chicken Sanawari, Mutton Shajahani Handi, Beef Namkeen, Fish Hyderabadi Masala, Chicken Sindhi Biryani, Chicken Lahori Biryani, Chicken Yakhni Pulao and Peshawari Naan.

A live cooking station is also available, where Pakistani kebabs are prepared and grilled fresh for guests.
Alongside the Pakistani dishes, Summerfields is offering its continental and international buffet selections, providing guests with a wider range of dining options.

According to the hotel, the festival aims to highlight Pakistan’s regional culinary traditions, authentic recipes, aromatic spices and traditional cooking techniques while promoting cultural ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan through food and hospitality.
The buffet dinner is priced at Tk 7,000 net, with a Buy 1 Get 2 Free offer available on selected bank cards.

The festival is being held at Summerfields Restaurant on Level 2 of Hotel Sarina Dhaka.
