Global Islami Bank holds shariah supervisory committee meeting

Global Islami Bank conducted its 18th shariah supervisory committee meeting on January 14 at its head office, according to a press release.

Chairman of the shariah supervisory committee Sayyed Kamaluddin Jafri presided over the meeting, which was attended by vice chairman Mufti Maulana Muhibullahil Baki, and other committee members.

The acting managing director of the bank, Ataus Samad, deputy managing director Sami Karim, senior officials, and auditors from the Shariah Secretariat were also present.

During the meeting, the committee expressed confidence in promptly overcoming challenges by ensuring strict adherence to Shariah principles and regulations in all banking operations.
