Globally reputed airline Vistara marks its Bangladesh operation

Indian private carrier Vistara has celebrated the anniversary of its flight operation in Bangladesh by hosting a reception at Radisson Blu Water Garden in the capital on Sunday last (May 15).

State Minister of civil aviation and tourism M Mahbub Ali attended the event as the chief guest while civil aviation and tourism secretary Mokammel Hossain and Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) chairman Air Marshal Mofidur Rahman attended the program as special guests.

On the occasion, the Vistara airlines local GSA the MAAS Travel & Tours Ltd. of Rhythm Group announced expansion of the airlines commercial operation on Mumbai-Dhaka-Mumbai route, a press release said here. The airline also awarded top 25 travel agencies during the celebration event.

Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines CEO Vinod Kannan, Bangladesh country manager Morgan D’souza Rhythm Group Managing Director Sohag Hossain also spoke, among others.

Addressing the Vistara night program,the minister expressed his determination for the further expansion of the entire tourism sector. “The government is sincerely working to boost the tourism sector”, added the minister.

The tourism minister appreciated the Vistara authority for setting up their business in Bangladesh. “I hope the Vistara authorities will put their sincere effort in ensuring their impact-oriented role for the further expansion of the aviation sector as we want to make Bangladesh a global aviation hub”, said the minister.

In the concluding session of Vistara night 2023, the legendary singer of the sub continent Runa Laila presented a good number of her popular songs to present a pleasant and passionate moment for the audience.
