Standard Bank Limited celebrates its 24th Founding Anniversary
Standard Bank Limited passed its glorious 24 years & entered into 25th on 03 June 2023. On this occasion, a program was organized at the Boardroom of the bank’s head office, Dhaka on 04 June 2023. Honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Vice Chairman Kazi Khurram Ahmed, Directors Messrs Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ferdous Ali Khan, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, Md. Manjur Alam, S.A.M. Hossain, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Al-haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, Md. Zahedul Hoque, A K M Abdul Alim, Md. Abul Hossain and Independent Directors Najmul Huq Chaudhury and Golam Hafiz Ahmed, Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO; Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Additional Managing Director, CRO & CAMLCO; Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & COO; M. Latif Hasan, Deputy Managing Director & CBO; Md. Ali Reza FCMA, CIPA, acting Company Secretary and Divisional Heads of the Head Office and Heads of all the Branches along with employees of the Head Office and all the Branches physically and virtually participated in the celebration. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Chairman of the Bank cut a cake as part of the 24th Founding Anniversary celebrations in presence of honorable Directors of the Bank. In his speech, Akram expressed sincere thanks to the Sponsors and Directors of the bank. He called upon all the SBL family to follow the path of Shari`ah properly in their banking activities as well as in their personal lives and expected everyone’s spontaneous participation in the development of the bank’s prosperity and services. At the end, a Doa Mahfil was held on online platform seeking blessings of almighty Allah for progress and prosperity of the Bank. Mawlana Muhammad Mansur Al Haq, eminent Islamic scholar, Imam and Khatib of Baridhara UN Road Mosque, former Assistant Professor of Salimullah Degree College & honorable Member of the Shari`ah Board of the Bank conducted the prayers.
