First meeting of the Executive Committee of Sammilito Islami Bank held

The state-owned Shariah-based bank, Sammilito Islami Bank PLC, officially held the inaugural meeting of its Executive Committee today at the bank’s corporate headquarters. The landmark meeting was presided over by Quazi Shairul Hasan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sammilito Islami Bank PLC.

Key members of the Executive Committee attended the session, including Dr. Hafiz Ahmed Chowdhury, Executive Committee Member and Secretary of the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; Md. Shahriar Quader Siddiky, Secretary of the Economic Relations Division of the Ministry of Finance, K. M. Zakaria, Abedur Rahman Sikder, Managing Director of Sammilito Islami Bank, alongside Md. Monirul Islam, Company Secretary (CC).

During this primary session, the Executive Committee evaluated, discussed, and approved multiple investment proposals submitted by various bank branches across the country, marking an important step forward in expanding the bank’s Shariah-compliant financing operations.
