Holiday Inn Dhaka Brings the Flavours and Colours of Rajasthan to Dhaka
The royal flavours and vibrant traditions of Rajasthan are coming to Dhaka. Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre presents “The Maharaja Returns,” a Rajasthani food festival taking place from 15 to 28 November 2026 at Attitude Restaurant.
Bringing together regional cuisine, traditional entertainment and a colourful shopping experience, the festival invites guests to discover the spirit of Rajasthan without leaving the capital.
At the heart of the experience is a chef from Rajasthan, bringing regional cooking traditions to the table alongside ingredients and spices sourced from Rajasthan. From richly spiced meat dishes to distinctive vegetarian preparations and traditional sweets, the festival celebrates the flavours that make Rajasthani cuisine so memorable.
Main-course highlights include Laal Maas, Safed Maas, Dal Baati Churma, Gatte Ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri and Rajasthani Kadhi, accompanied by Bajre Ki Roti. Together, these dishes offer guests a journey through Rajasthan’s hearty cooking, bold flavours and regional specialities. For a sweet finale, the Marwar Mithai Mahal dessert selection will feature Ghevar, Mawa Kachori, Malpua and Moong Dal Halwa, bringing the richness of traditional Rajasthani sweets to Dhaka.
The experience extends beyond the dining table. Traditional Rajasthani puppet performances, Live Music and folk artistry to life. A dedicated Rajasthani stall in the hotel lobby will offer traditional outfits and jewellery, allowing guests to explore—and take home—a little of Rajasthan’s colourful heritage.
