Cox’s Bazar Tourism Carnival to Open on November 15, Tikkify Named Ticketing Partner

A three-month-long ‘Cox’s Bazar Tourism Carnival 2026’ will begin on November 15 at the beach adjacent to Hotel Shaibal in Cox’s Bazar, under the theme ‘A New Wave of Experiences’.

Tikkify Limited has joined the carnival as its exclusive online ticketing and experience-booking partner following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Spellbound Communications Limited, the event’s organiser.

The partnership was announced at a press conference held on Thursday at the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) building in Agargaon, Dhaka.

Mohammad Goni Ul Azam, additional secretary to the government and director of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, attended the event as the chief guest. Mohammad Sadekul Arefeen, managing director and CEO of Spellbound Network, and Abdullah Al Mamun, chief operating officer of Tikkify, were also present as special guests, along with officials from the organisations concerned.

Organised by the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and implemented by Spellbound Communications Limited, the carnival is being billed by its organisers as the country’s first and largest beach carnival.

Spanning approximately 35 acres, the event will feature cultural performances, open-air film screenings, international-standard sand art, painting and handicraft exhibitions, food and shopping zones, children’s entertainment, mini golf, go-karting, sports and camping facilities, among other attractions.

International sand artists Paul and Remy Hoggard will also participate in special artistic installations.

The initiative aims to diversify Cox’s Bazar’s tourism offerings by introducing more experience-based attractions while creating business opportunities for local entrepreneurs, small businesses, artisans and tourism service providers.

Under the agreement, Tikkify will provide exclusive online ticketing services, experience and activity bookings, digital payment facilities and technology-based visitor entry management. Ticket sales and entry services through both online and offline channels will begin on November 19, 2026.

A regular single-entry pass has been priced at Tk200, while a multiple-entry pass allowing visitors to enter more than once on the same day will cost Tk500. Separate tickets will be required for selected experiences and activities.

The organisers expect the carnival to open up new opportunities for Bangladesh’s tourism industry while contributing to the local economy, employment generation and the growth of creative industries.
