Seminar in Paris Calls for Implementation of 7-Point Proposal to Ensure Journalists’ Safety
A seminar titled “Safety of Journalists” was held in Paris, organized by the Euro-Bangla Press Club France, calling for the implementation of a 7-point proposal to ensure the security and professional protection of journalists.
The program was chaired by the President of the organization Md Taj Uddin and moderated by General Secretary, Nazmul Haque.”

The event took place on July 23 in the conference hall of a restaurant in Paris. The seminar was graced by the presence of Sattar Ali Suman Shah Alam as the chief guest, Chairman of Shah Group and is well known as a media personality.
In his keynote, Taijul Foyez outlined a 7-point proposal focusing on ensuring the safety, dignity, and professional rights of journalists both at home and abroad. The speakers emphasized the need for united efforts from the international community and the expatriate Bangladeshi diaspora to prevent threats, harassment, and attacks against journalists.
Attendees at the seminar praised the initiative and called for creating a safer environment for journalists to carry out their professional responsibilities without fear or interference.
