Biman suspends Kathmandu flight
Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ Dhaka-Kathmandu flight has been suspended due to the emerging situation in Nepal, security concerns and restrictions imposed by the Nepalese government on flight operations.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ public relations officer ABM Rawshan Kabir confirmed this information on Tuesday.
He said that in view of the ban and as a precautionary measure, it has been decided to suspend the Dhaka-Kathmandu route flight until 2 pm tomorrow, Wednesday (September 10). Passengers will be informed as soon as further instructions are received regarding flight operations.
ABM Rawshan Kabir further said that Biman Bangladesh Airlines gives the highest priority to the safety of passengers. Passengers bound for Nepal are requested to contact Biman’s call center at 13636 or +8809610913636 between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM for the latest flight information.
