Golden Tulip The Grandmark Dhaka Unveils “Poush Parbon”: A Culinary Ode to Winter’s Heritage

Golden Tulip The Grandmark Dhaka, a name synonymous with luxury and cultural hospitality, on December 1 announced the launch of its much-anticipated “Poush Parbon – A Taste of Winter Heritage,” a culinary festival dedicated to the traditional art of Bangladeshi Pitha. This exclusive promotion will transform the hotel’s dining venues into a vibrant celebration of winter from December 1st to December 15th, 2025.

As the winter breeze settles in, Bangladeshi hearts and homes turn to Pitha—the soul-warming, artisanal cakes that define the season. Golden Tulip The Grandmark Dhaka captures this essence perfectly, inviting guests on a nostalgic journey through flavors and traditions that have been cherished for generations.

The heart of the festival will beat at the Golden Dine Restaurant, featuring an elaborate dinner buffet with a dedicated “Pitha Corner.” Here, live cooking stations will showcase master chefs crafting these delicacies right before guests’ eyes. The air will be filled with the enticing aromas of sizzling Pati Shapta, steaming Bhapa Pitha, and crisply frying Teler Pitha. The extensive selection will include both sweet and savory classics such as Dudh Chitoi Pitha, Narikaler Tokti Pitha, Puli Pitha, and Nokshi Pitha, offering an unparalleled gastronomic adventure.

For a more intimate experience, Café De Tulip will present three specially curated Pitha Combos, perfect for a cozy evening snack. Each combo is designed to tell a story:

The Sweet Heritage Combo: A delightful trio of Bhapa Pitha, Patisapta, and aromatic Gurer Cha (Jaggery Tea).

The Deshi Spicy Combo: A savory treat featuring Chitoi Pitha with an assortment of traditional Bhortas, complemented by zesty Lebu Cha (Lemon Tea).

The Grameen Mix Combo: A rustic selection of Teler Pitha and Bhapa Pitha, served with comforting Gurer Dudh (Hot Milk with Date Molasses).

Elevating the experience further, the chefs recommend pairing a robust, flavorful Spicy Duck Bhuna with soft Naan, Roti, or a fluffy Chitoi Pitha for a truly hearty winter meal.

“Pitha is not merely a food item; it is an emotion, a tapestry woven with the threads of our culture, family, and winter festivities,” said Mohammad Sazzad Hossain, Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications at Golden Tulip The Grandmark Dhaka. “With ‘Poush Parbon,’ we are not just serving food; we are curating memories and offering an authentic slice of Bangladeshi heritage. We have poured our passion into every recipe to ensure an unforgettable culinary journey for our guests.”
