Mohammad Tarek Appointed CEO of Kaalmegha Country Club and Resort
Mohammad Tarek has joined Kaalmegha Country Club and Resort as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), according to a press release.
With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tarek is set to lead the luxury resort toward enhanced service excellence, operational efficiency, and elevated guest satisfaction.
Throughout his career, Tarek has worked with several prestigious international hotel brands and top-tier resorts, including Marriott International, where he developed strong expertise in managing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Prior to his appointment at Kaalmegha Country Club and Resort, he served as the General Manager of Space Apartments.
During his tenure there, Tarek demonstrated notable leadership by successfully overseeing operations, strategic development, and staff training across multiple properties, while consistently prioritising guest satisfaction and profitability.
Located in Mawna, Gazipur—approximately a two-hour drive from Dhaka—Kaalmegha Country Club & Resort offers super-luxury villas for rent amid a serene natural setting. The award-winning resort, a recipient of the prestigious Asia Pacific Property Awards, spans 17 acres and is surrounded by the lush Kaalmegha forest. For the first time in Bangladesh, the resort is introducing a dedicated country club, scheduled to open in April 2026, designed to host destination weddings, corporate programmes, and cultural events.
The resort features 20 exclusive villas, each with a private swimming pool, with an additional 40 villas currently under construction.
