With over 18 years of international experience, Chef Kassem joins Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan following a distinguished career with some of the world’s leading hospitality brands, including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, Kempinski, and Hilton. Having worked across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, he has earned a reputation for creating exceptional dining concepts, leading high-performing culinary teams, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Originally from Egypt, Chef Kassem is renowned for his expertise in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, European, and international cuisine. His career spans luxury hotels and resorts across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Oman, and Egypt. Among his notable achievements is the successful launch of Syrah, Hyatt Regency Delhi’s signature Middle Eastern restaurant, where he introduced authentic regional flavours to a wider audience and established the venue as a sought-after dining destination.
As Executive Chef, Chef Kassem will oversee all culinary operations at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, including its restaurants, banquets, special events, and menu innovation. His vision is to elevate the hotel’s dining experiences by blending the rich heritage of Middle Eastern cuisine with contemporary international flavours, creating memorable culinary journeys for guests.
