Dalton Zahir Appointed as Global Ambassador for Skål International Alto Valle in Argentina
Neuquén, Argentina: Skål International Alto Valle, the esteemed tourism organization representing the Río Negro and Neuquén provinces of Argentina, has officially appointed M.Z.I. Dalton Zahir, a distinguished global hospitality expert, travel writer, and media consultant from Bangladesh, as their new ambassador for the Asia and Europe regions.
This official appointment, signed by Lucas Martin Sonora, President of Skål International Alto Valle, recognizes Mr. Zahir’s impressive 25-year career, showcasing his contributions to international tourism, trade diplomacy, and hospitality management. He continues to serve as a proud representative of Bangladesh on the global stage, working tirelessly to build bridges in tourism relations across continents.

In his new role, this Bangladeshi tourism leader will focus on enhancing institutional relationships between the tourism sectors of Asia, Europe, and Argentina, while fostering cultural exchange and creating new business opportunities. Embracing Skål International’s core ideal of “Connecting Tourism Globally,” his leadership aims to cultivate enduring, trust-based partnerships among tourism professionals worldwide.

Currently, Mr. Zahir serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Europe Key, Traveller Key, and the World Vacation Club, and he is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the international travel media outlet, Traveller Times. He established “Welcome Bangladesh,” a premier tourism media, publication, and guide platform. Additionally, he has held leadership roles as Co-Chairman of the Standing Committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism at the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and as an elected director of the Tourism Developers Association of Bangladesh (TDAB).
