93rd Meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank Held

The 93rd meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. (SJIBPLC) was held on 9th September 2026 at the Board meeting room of Corporate Head Office of the Bank.

The Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Mufti Shamsuddin Zia presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari’ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations and provided shariah based guideline and approvals on various matters presented in the meeting.

Among others Mufti Md. Abdur Razzak Member of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank, the Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Head of Shari’ah Secretariat of the Bank Md. Abul Bashar were also present in the meeting. 

The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and the meeting was concluded with Do’a & Munajat and wishing continued prosperity of the Bank.
