Le Méridien Dhaka Appoints Gregor Schmidt-Kiefer as General Manager
Le Méridien Dhaka, a luxury property of Marriott International, appointed Gregor Schmidt-Kiefer as General Manager, marking a new chapter defined by elevated guest experiences, distinctive hospitality and continued excellence.
With more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Gregor brings a wealth of international expertise shaped by an exceptional career across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions across renowned international hospitality brands, building extensive experience in hotel operations, commercial performance and guest experience.
Most recently, Gregor served as Hospitality Director at Wirefox Hospitality Ltd., overseeing a portfolio of boutique hotels across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Previously, he served as General Manager of Marriott Karachi Hotel and Area General Manager for the O’Callaghan Collection in Dublin.
In his new role, Gregor will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s commercial and operational performance, while further enhancing hotel’s positioning as Dhaka’s most acclaimed premier luxury lifestyle destinations.
Embarking on a new journey from Ireland to Bangladesh, Gregor sees the move as an opportunity to contribute to the country’s evolving hospitality landscape.
