Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport Hosts Awadhi Food Festival
Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport is hosting an Awadhi food festival titled “Dastarkhwan-e-Awadh” from October 8 to 17 at its Mosaic restaurant, featuring traditional cuisine and cultural elements from India’s Awadh region.
The festival brings together a selection of dishes associated with Awadhi cuisine, including Daulat Ki Chaat, Galouti Kebab, Kakori Kebab, Dum Ki Biryani, Baghaar-e-Baingan, Shahi Tukda and Badam Ka Halwa.

The dinner buffet is priced at Tk 8,999 net per person. The programme also includes live Qawwali performances at a dedicated Qawwali Corner as part of the cultural component of the event.

Meghna Bank is the exclusive banking partner of the festival, with participating banks offering various dining privileges to eligible cardholders under their respective terms and conditions.
US-Bangla Airlines is the airline partner of the event. As part of the promotional campaign, the airline will provide two couple tickets for travel on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka and Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka routes.

Ashwani Nayar, Area General Manager, IHG Southwest Asia and Cluster General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport and InterContinental Dhaka, said the festival was designed to showcase traditional Awadhi dishes and cultural elements.
“We have carefully selected traditional dishes, from Galouti Kebab and Kakori Kebab to Dum Ki Biryani and Shahi Tukda, to give our guests a memorable taste of this celebrated cuisine,” he said.

The festival is being held at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, which is located near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The hotel is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts.
