Sammilito Islami Bank holds Audit Committee Meeting

The 2nd meeting of the Audit Committee of state-owned Shariah based Sammilito Islami Bank PLC held on 2 November 2026, Monday at the Bank’s Head Office.

Asma Akhter, FCA, Chairman of the Audit Committee presided over the meeting. Mohammed Ahsan Habib Chowdhury, FCA, member of the Audit Committee, Md. Monirul Islam, Company Secretary (CC) along with the Heads of Internal Control & Compliance Division of all units of Sammilito Islami Bank were present at the meeting.

The meeting provided necessary directives to the management of the bank for compliance of the related act, rules and regulations to the banking operations.
