A. F. Shabbir Ahmad joins as Deputy Managing Director of Global Islami Bank

A. F. Shabbir Ahmad has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Global Islami Bank on 23 March 2025.
A. F. Shabbir Ahmad is a career banker having more than 30 years of diversified banking experience at home and abroad to his credit.
He started career with AB Bank Limited as Probationary Officer and subsequently worked for several private commercial Banks in different capacities.
He held the positions of head of branch, head of different divisions/departments and Chief Operating Officer at head office. He also held charge as the managing director of a finance company.
Mr. Ahmad attended a good number of trainings, workshops and seminars at home and abroad. He obtained his Bachelor and Masters in Finance from University of Dhaka.
