DuSai Resort & Spa appoints Naushad Bin Islam as General Manager

Naushad Bin Islam has recently been appointed as General Manager of DuSai Resort & Spa, the first world class 5 Star standard boutique Villa Resort & Spa in Bangladesh.

Mr. Naushad is a veteran hotelier having more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

He has been holding senior positions in various renowned hotels and resorts throughout his professional journey, e.g. Director of F&B at Radisson Blu Hotel Dhaka ( 5 Star) for more than 9 years, Executive Director at USUN International Pte. Ltd, Singapore, General Manager at Bengal Canary Park Hotel, General Manager at Green View Resort & Convention Centre and most recently, Acting General Manager at ‘Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort ( 5 Star, previously a part of Movenpick Hotels).

He was graduated in Hotel Management from the ‘Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management’, Salzburg, Austria with distinction.

He also pursued an advanced level course in Hotel Management from ‘Rajabhat University Suan Dusit’, Bangkok, Thailand under Thai Government Scholarship.

His long experience in hospitality industry equipped him with strong foundation in leadership, customer service and financial management that made him capable of managing various aspects of hotel operations successfully.

For his result oriented leadership, he was awarded ‘Best General Manager (Hospitality) by ‘International Federation of Hospitality Professionals’ and ‘CMO Global’ in 2019.
