Shahjalal Islami Bank’s 24th AGM held

The 24^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC wes held on 25^th June 2025 through Digital Platform (with Online Video Conference).The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank A. K. Azad presided over in the meeting.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) approved 10 percent Cash dividend for the Shareholders and the Directors reported & audited Balance Sheet and the profit & loss account for the year ended on 31^st December 2024.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank A. K. Azad and the Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed delivered speech in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The SEVP & Company Secretary of the Bank Md. Abul Bashar moderated the program.

Among others the Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mohammed Younus & Mohiuddin Ahmed, the Directors of the Bank Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Harun Miah, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Tahera Faruque, Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, Independent Directors Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Md. Reazul Karim were also present in the AGM.

Saiful Islam & Mustafa Husain, the Legal Advisor of the Bank Barrister Khan Mohammad Shamim Aziz, the External Auditor of the Bank & the Partner of Aziz Halim Khayer & Co. Md. Ashrafuzzaman, ACA, the Independent Scrutinizer Partner of Jasmin & Associates Jasmin Akter, FCA, the CFO of the Bank Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA and the Share Holders participated in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) through digital Platform.
