New committee formed for Sonargaon Hotel Sromik-O-Karmachari Union

The 18th Sonargaon Hotel Sromik-O-Karmachari Union (SHSOKU) election was held at Sonargaon Hotel on November 9. The newly elected President is Dulal Chandra Mazumder while for the position of General Secretary, Md Shah Alam was voted as the winner.

The Dulal-Alam coalition has won the election by a significant margin as compared to the opposition.

Among the other elected members in respective positions of the 17-member executive committee were were Sr. Vice Presidet Salim Jahangir, Vice President Julies D Silva, Vice President Md Aksar Hossain, Vice President Md. Shafiqul Islam, Vice President Kohirnoor Begum, General Secretary Md Shah Alam, Joint Secretary Tanvir Ahmed Siddiki, Assistant Secretary Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, Assistant Secretary Md. Mynuddin, Finance Secretary Md. Saiful Islam, Organizational Secretary Rasaduzzaman, Office Secretary Md. Siddikur Rahman, Sports Secretary Md. Shadekur Rahman, Publicity Secretary Mohammed Shahin Mia, Women’s Affairs Secretary Elora Agnes Mrong, Legal Affairs Secretary Khairul Alam, Social Welfare Secretary Nurul Alam and Health Affairs Secretary Md. Jahid Hossain.
