Daraz Unveils Extended 5.5 Eid Sale with Deep Discounts and High-Value Giveaways
Daraz Bangladesh is set to launch its flagship 5.5 Mega Eid Sale, introducing an expansive, multi-week campaign that blends aggressive pricing, gamified rewards, and broad payment partnerships to capture peak pre-Eid consumer demand.
The campaign goes live on 4 May at 8 PM and will run through 26 May 2026, offering shoppers an extended window to access deals across categories including fashion, electronics, FMCG, home appliances, and lifestyle products.
At the core of the campaign are Mega Deals and Flash Sales offering discounts of up to 80%, complemented by Hot Deals of up to 70% off. Additional incentives include free delivery on selected items and platform-wide delivery discounts, reinforcing Daraz’s push to reduce cost barriers for online shoppers during the festive period.
A key differentiator this year is the integration of large-scale giveaways tied to user engagement. The headline “Jitsen Bhai” Cow Giveaway will reward a top-performing shopper who purchases Dettol products worth at least BDT 300 and records the highest number of successful deliveries. Alongside this, the “Shop & Win” Goat Giveaway will select eight winners based on order performance from participating partner stores such as Pureit, Aarong Earth, Minister, and Himalaya.
Pre-launch engagement is being driven through the “Add to Cart and Win” AC Giveaway, incentivizing users to build carts ahead of the official kickoff.
To maintain momentum, Daraz is introducing “Brand Rush Hour”, a recurring six-hour promotional window featuring exclusive brand discounts on select campaign dates. Weekly category-focused campaigns are also planned to align offers with evolving consumer needs.

On the payments front, the campaign integrates a wide ecosystem. Users of bKash and Nagad can access instant discounts and cashback offers, while cardholders from multiple banks—including BRAC Bank PLC and City Bank PLC—can avail up to 12% discounts through vouchers.
