Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel Launches ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights at Bahar
Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel has introduced ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights at its all-day dining restaurant, Bahar, offering guests a month-long culinary journey through the diverse flavours of Southeast Asia.
The themed dining experience will officially begin on 9 July 2026 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by ambassadors from ASEAN member states and other distinguished guests. The inaugural event will also bring together media representatives, lifestyle influencers and food bloggers, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange through gastronomy.
The ASEAN-themed buffet will be available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 July to 1 August 2026.
According to the hotel, the initiative is designed to showcase the rich culinary heritage of the ASEAN region through an extensive menu featuring authentic dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei.
Guests can enjoy a wide selection of regional specialties, including salads, soups, street food, seafood dishes, live satay and grill stations, curries, rice and noodle preparations, traditional desserts and tropical beverages. The menu has been curated by the hotel’s culinary team to reflect the authentic flavours and traditions of Southeast Asian cuisine.
Located in Gulshan, Bahar is known for its contemporary ambience and regularly hosts themed dining experiences featuring international cuisines. The restaurant incorporates themed décor, live cooking stations and specially curated menus to provide guests with an immersive dining experience.
The ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights buffet is priced at BDT 3,950 net per person. Guests can avail themselves of a 25 percent discount through selected bank cards, GP Star membership, Banglalink Orange Club privileges, Robi Elite membership and eligible group bookings.
Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel said the initiative reflects its continued efforts to offer distinctive culinary experiences while introducing guests to international food cultures under one roof. The hotel aims to combine dining with cultural storytelling, allowing visitors to explore the traditions and flavours of Southeast Asia without leaving Dhaka.
