Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre Brings Back “Banglar Roshona Bilash 2.0”

Following the overwhelming response and appreciation received last year, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre is bringing back its popular Bengali-themed food festival, “Banglar Roshona Bilash 2.0.”

The special buffet dinner will take place at Attitude Restaurant from 8 to 12 July 2026. In the middle of Dhaka’s fast-paced city life, people often miss the simplicity, warmth and cultural beauty of rural Bengal. Through Banglar Roshona Bilash 2.0, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre aims to recreate that nostalgic experience by transforming the hotel with a colourful Gram Bangla-inspired theme, where guests can reconnect with traditional Bengali food, music, entertainment and rural culture.

Guests will be welcomed with the hotel’s refreshing signature Kacha Amer Shorbot, popularly known as Aam Panna. The traditional beverage selection will also feature lassi, ghol, beler shorbot, lemon mint and tamarind shorbot. One of the major highlights of the festival will be fresh Padma hilsa, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy one of Bengal’s most treasured delicacies.

The buffet will feature a wide selection of authentic Bengali dishes prepared with traditional flavours and familiar home-style recipes.Guests can explore an extensive bhorta and achar station, along with popular street-food favourites such as fuchka, chotpoti, jhalmuri and other freshly prepared items from the live stations. The main course will include panta bhat, bhuna khichuri, traditional mutton kacchi, Sonali chicken pulao, shorshe ilish, narikel chingri, duck bhuna, beef kala bhuna, local fish curries, shutki preparations, seasonal vegetables and traditional dal selections. The experience will continue with a generous dessert selection featuring mishti doi, gurer mishti doi, shahi tukra, nawabi shemai, patishapta, traditional pitha, narikel naru, crispy jalebi, kheer, assorted local sweets and malai tea.

Beyond the buffet, the hotel will bring the spirit of rural Bengal to life through a traditional bioscope, Gram Bangla-themed photo booth, fortune-telling corner, face painting and a live Baul performance with ektara. The specially created setting will allow guests to experience the food, traditions and joyful atmosphere of village life without leaving the city.

Banglar Roshona Bilash 2.0 will be available from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, from 8 to 12 July 2026, at Attitude Restaurant. The buffet is priced at BDT 7,777 net, with a special Buy One, Get Three Free offer on selected bank cards.
