Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre Becomes First Hotel in Bangladesh to Sign MoU with UnionPay International
Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UnionPay International, becoming the first hotel in Bangladesh to enter into such an agreement with the global payment network.
The partnership aims to enhance payment convenience for guests and introduce exclusive benefits for UnionPay cardholders using the hotel’s hospitality services.
Under the collaboration, the two organisations will explore cardholder privileges, promotional offers and customer-focused initiatives across selected hotel services. The partnership is also expected to support the growing demand for secure and convenient international payment solutions in Bangladesh.
The MoU will provide opportunities for joint promotional campaigns and value-added experiences for UnionPay cardholders. Specific offers and initiatives will be announced through the official communication channels of Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre and UnionPay International.
The agreement is part of Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre’s efforts to develop partnerships with international financial and payment service organisations while offering greater payment flexibility to local and international guests.
As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, the hotel said it remains focused on maintaining international hospitality standards and introducing services that respond to changing customer needs.
The partnership with UnionPay International is expected to strengthen the hotel’s payment options while creating additional benefits for cardholders and supporting the hotel’s broader strategy of enhancing guest convenience and service offerings.
