Sammilito Islami Bank Organises Workshop on ‘Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism’

The state-owned Shariah based Sammilito Islami Bank PLC organized a workshop on ‘Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism’.

The program was arranged by Training and Research Academy of the bank on 11 October ay at its Head Office.

Quazi Shairul Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors inaugurated the workshop as Chief Guest. Abedur Rahman Sikder, Managing Director of the bank presided over the program.

Ahmed Zafrul Hasan, Additional Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer along with Senior Management of the bank participated in the program.

The workshop rendered several sessions on Money Laundering Prevention Act, Anti-Terrorism Act, Credit Backed and Trade Based Money Laundering for raising awareness on the titled issues.
