Biman celebrates ‘World Tourism Day-2025’ with the theme ‘Tourism for Sustainable Development’

The World Tourism Day-2025 was celebrated with due dignity on September 27 under the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. This year’s theme was “Tourism for Sustainable Development”. On the occasion of the day, a colorful and diverse rally was organized from the premises of Agargaon Tourism Building in the capital at 9 am.

The rally led by Civil Aviation and Tourism Advisor Sk Bashir Uddin, ended by circumambulating the area adjacent to Agargaon Tourism Building. Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman and various officers and employees of Biman participated in it.

Participation in the rally highlights the importance of tourism in sustainable development and expresses commitment to building a responsible tourism sector.
