89th meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank held

The 89th meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. (SJIBPLC) held on 24th September 2025 at the Board meeting room of Corporate Head Office of the Bank. The Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shahed Rahmani presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari’ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations.

Among others the Members of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank Maulana Muhammad Sadequl Islam, Dr. Mufti Yousuf Sultan, Maulana Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank A. K. Azad, the Vice-Chairmen of the Bank Mohammed Younus & Mohiuddin Ahmed, the Directors of the Bank Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Md. Abdul Barek, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, Fakir Maniruzzaman, the Independent Directors Nasir Uddin Ahmed & Md. Reazul Karim were present in the meeting. Besides the Managing Director of the Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the Company Secretary Md. Abul Bashar, the Chief Financial Officer Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA and the Head of Shari’ah Secretariat of the Bank Maulana Md. Farid Uddin were also present in the meeting.

The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and the meeting was concluded with Do’a and Munajat and wishing continued prosperity of the bank.
