Chef’s Federation of Bangladesh Marks International Chef’s Day 2025 in Grand Style
The Chef’s Federation of Bangladesh (CFB) celebrated International Chef’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm, uniting chefs, hospitality professionals, students, and food entrepreneurs from across the country.
The vibrant event, hosted at InterContinental Dhaka, became one of the largest gatherings of culinary professionals in Bangladesh, drawing more than a thousand participants. The celebration underscored the vital role of chefs in ensuring food safety, fostering sustainability, and inspiring future generations of culinary talent.

The occasion was graced by distinguished guests, including industry leaders, corporate partners, and renowned culinary figures, who commended Bangladeshi chefs for their growing contribution to the national economy and their strong presence on the global stage.
Highlights of the program included motivational speeches from culinary pioneers and special recognitions for outstanding chefs and contributors to the industry. Among the speakers were Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Abu Taher Muhammad Zaber, Vice-President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Hotel and Resorts PLC and Chief Adviser of Chef’s Federation of Bangladesh (CFB) Shakawath Hossain, CFB President Johir Khan, Senior Vice President Jashim Uddin, and General Secretary Borhan Khan, among others.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and an engaging networking session, fostering camaraderie among culinary professionals and reaffirming Bangladesh’s place in the international culinary community.

It is worth noting that the Chef’s Federation of Bangladesh serves as the national professional organization representing chefs and hospitality experts. Through advocacy, training, skill development, and international collaboration, CFB remains dedicated to advancing the culinary profession and promoting Bangladesh’s rich gastronomic heritage worldwide.
