Sayeum Mia has recently been appointed Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Space Apartments, a four-star hospitality property. He brings over 21 years of extensive experience in the hotel and resort industry, combining international brand standards with strong leadership and operational expertise.

Mr. Mia spent 12 years with Starwood Marriott International, serving at Sheraton Dhaka and The Westin Dhaka, where he gained comprehensive multi-departmental experience across Food & Beverage Service and Front Office operations. His tenure with these globally renowned brands strengthened his expertise in service excellence, operational discipline, and guest satisfaction.

Following his international hotel experience, he successfully led a three-star boutique hotel, where his leadership was recognized with the Best General Manager (Hospitality) – Award for Leadership by CMO Asia. His career also includes valuable exposure to multiple resort properties, further enhancing his proficiency in both urban and leisure hospitality operations.

A specialist trainer, operational excellence professional, and guest service expert, Mr. Mia is widely respected for developing high-performing teams and delivering consistent service quality. Beyond his professional achievements, he is also admired for his contribution as a social worker, reflecting his commitment to people development both within and beyond the hospitality industry.
