Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Maintains Success in FY 2024–2025

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) has continued its successful performance by achieving an operating profit of approximately Tk 22 crore in the 2024–2025 fiscal year. The information was disclosed at the corporation’s 56th Commercial Conference, held on January 22, 2026.

The day-long conference took place at the Parjatan Bhaban in Agargaon and was attended by managers and unit managers of all commercial units of the organization, along with concerned officials and senior representatives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

The primary objectives of the conference were to review the overall performance of BPC’s commercial units, determine future strategies and revenue targets, identify existing challenges, propose realistic solutions, and recognize outstanding performances of managers and officers/employees.

The conference was inaugurated at 9:00 am by the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Nasreen Jahan, who attended the opening session as the chief guest. The concluding session was graced by Sheikh Bashiruddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, as the chief guest. The conference was presided over by the Chairman of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Saima Shahin Sultana.

At the beginning of the conference, Jamil Ahmed, Director (Commercial), presented a comprehensive overview of the corporation’s activities during the last fiscal year through a PowerPoint presentation. Participants shared recommendations and opinions on strategies to further strengthen commercial operations and increase revenue.

In the concluding session, a rapporteur’s note was presented, summarizing the key issues and discussions from the various working sessions held throughout the day. Addressing the session, Secretary Nasreen Jahan emphasized the importance of collective efforts to ensure profitability of the commercial units through optimal utilization of the corporation’s limited resources and facilities.

Chief guest Sheikh Bashiruddin stated that alongside financial growth, improving service quality requires a change in mindset. He highlighted the need for hard work, a positive outlook, and fair and maximum utilization of existing resources to move the organization forward.

During the closing phase of the conference, seven individuals were honored for their outstanding performance in the 2024–2025 fiscal year under the categories of Manager of the Year, Best Performer, Best Five, and Best Distributor. Additionally, three commercial units received crests and certificates under the Best Garden Creation category.

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Chairman Saema Shaheen Sultana congratulated the directors, general managers, managers, and officers and employees at all levels for the organization’s success in the last fiscal year. She also expressed her gratitude to the chief guest, special guests, and all those involved in organizing the conference.
